At its Tuesday, Aug. 27, meeting, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors will consider an endorsement of Proposition 36, a ballot measure which, if passed by voters during the Nov. 5 election, would increase sentences for certain drug and theft crimes, and reclassify them as felonies.
